My NP practice focuses on Relationships and communication with nurses, providers and patients

Goal:

Empower the new nurse by providing relevant, flexible and interactive education in a digital format to promote engagement in the area of Neuro Surgical Nursing and thus increase retention.

If we are going to share knowledge with this younger generation, we need to adapt to their style of learning:

they don't want to read about it, they don't want to sit in a lecture; they want hands on and real-world application

Self-directed and Autonomous

they want control over what, when and how they learn

Technology Driven

they have grown up with digital tools and prefer this medium over book and articles.

Proposal: Microlearning Modules

Develop 6 microlearning modules on NeuroSurgical topics that utilize technology driven platforms to provide information.

Utilize QRS code that is posted throughout the floor that links the nurse to information on a topic that is broken down into small manageable

Develop Tik Toks that provides education on a topic in an engaging and concise format.
